The College Softball Prospect ID Showcase will feature sessions for pitchers, catchers, hitters, infielders and outfielders. This gives players the opportunity to pick the sessions that best showcases their talents. All college coaches will attend each session and will be working with and evaluating the players.

ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE

  • Position specific training and small group instruction.
  • Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
  • Opportunities to ask questions and get to know the college coaches.
  • An open conversation about the NCAA rules, and regulations.
  • All campers will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.

CAMP SCHEDULE

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM → Pitching & Catching Evaluation & Instruction
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM → Discussion on the Recruiting Process
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM → Hitting & Offensive Skills Evaluation & Instruction
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM → Infield/Outfield Defense Evaluation & Instruction

WHY IS IT A SHOWCASE AND A CAMP?

Players want to showcase their skills, but they should also want to learn from the coaches. Coaches want to evaluate players and their skills so they can teach them appropriately, just like they do with their own players. They also want to see how players react to new instruction, new techniques and how they socialize with peers and other coaches instructing.

EVALUATION & SHOWCASE DETAILS

Evaluations will be provided from the coaches during and around the instructional process. Because we focus on a high level of player-coach interaction we highly recommend that players ask for any specific evaluations they may want during the event. We also encourage athletes to approach any of the camp staff after the event is over for additional feedback and information.

THE COLLEGE COACHES ARE ON THE FIELD ALL DAY JUST LIKE THEY ARE FOR THEIR OWN PRACTICES & GAMES
